Fairytale Friday

“Web-Shooting” Party Game Idea!

Happy Fairytale Friday!

My Magical Memory has been BUZZING with Superhero requests, especially for our Spiderguy!

Since so many parties are coming up for this Spidey-Hero , we thought we could help you Super Mom’s find a cool way to entertain the kids at your next event!

What better way to celebrate with Spiderguy than making your own Web-Shooter game? (Our Land Mermaid obviously needs to learn, she tried and tried but her Spidey Web shooting wasn’t cutting it!)

Below are the instructions on how to Make “Web-Shooting” a Fun Party Game for the kids:

  • Cut a large piece of black chalkboard paper and lay it flat. Begin the spider web by using a white crayon to draw 9-11 lines radiating from the center {see picture below}.
  • Next, build the spider web by drawing a spiral with the white crayon.Continue the spiral until you have a large spiderweb.
  • Grab a yellow crayon and draw little flies all over!
  • Take the chalkboard paper to your party area outside and hang it up with masking tape.
  • Each little superhero gets their own can of Silly String! The best way to make it look like they are truly “shooting webs” is by putting rubber bands around the can and putting it on their wrists, having the can go underneath their wrist! They will  have a blast aiming for the little flies on the Spiderman Web Slinger game. Of course, once the game was covered with Silly String they turned the sticky foam on themselves!

THE BEST WAY TO PLAY THIS GAME IS OUTSIDE! You don’t want to have a house full of Spiderwebs!!
